Bantry was the patriarch of our pack and we were fortunate that he lived to over 16 years old, 14 of those with us. He loved to go to North Dakota, Kansas and Nebraska to chase pheasants and when he was closer to home, he also enjoyed training and retrieving with his dad. Bantry gave us a litter of seven pups, including his daughter Rose who is turning 12 this year and seems to miss her dad almost as much as we do. We have had and loved dogs before and will continue to welcome and love dogs in the years to come, but there will never be another one like Bantry Bay. He was truly one of a kind in all of the best ways. We miss you Bantry and thank you for all of the wonderful years you gave us.
